LA County Veteran Democrats’ (LACVD) Mission is simple: we exist to provide a voice and a safe space for Democrats and their families who are veterans. We support and hold accountable Democratic candidates who advocate for solutions to issues important to our community. Our focus is to grow Democratic veteran leaders in the Democratic Party and public office. LACVD organizes and develops veteran activists, leaders, and resources to have a voice in politics affecting LA County. There’s a gap between veterans and the Democratic Party in Los Angeles and California. Veterans and their families should have the opportunity to mobilize and have a voice in the Democratic Party space; our club seeks to bridge that divide.
